Aliza Vellani is an Canadian film and television actress from British Columbia. Vellani has gained acclaim for her character, Rani Singh, in Netflix's Sweet Tooth. Aliza Vellani has been working across the U.S. and Canada Film & TV industries over the past 12 years. Vellani's credits include the hit series Little Mosque on the Prairie and The X-Files on FOX. She also appeared in the Marvel's Super Hero Adventures on Disney+. Nora was the daughter of Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen between 2024 and 2019 within Central City. The name she was given is a reference to her paternal grandmother, who died in 2024. Nora Allen. Barry Allen vanished in 2024 following his battle against Reverse Flash. Nora had been raised by her mother. Vellani is born in Vancouver to Indian immigrants from East Africa. In York House School she started her training from an early age. Vellani received the BC and National Istar Awards in 2007 as well as 2008. Vellani's training continued following high school, in the fields of voice, dance and acting. We learned in The Flash's Midseason finale that Nora was working against her parents' backs in conjunction with Eobard The Reverse Flash. Vellani initially planned on pursuing a degree in integrated media from OCAD, but she opted to delay her studies to accept the character. Marvel became her university education. Her move was to Atlanta, Georgia as did the rest of the younger Marvel cast.
